He's behind you! Elen Rivas attracts an admiring double-take during her marathon workout

She may not be in tiny gym shorts or a cleavage-baring vest top, but Elen Rivas still attracted double-takes during a riverside workout in London yesterday.
The 36-year-old jogged along the Thames in a figure-hugging long-sleeve top, leggings and a scarf, and received an admiring backward glance from a passing runner.
Elen seemed oblivious to the attention as she focused all her energies on training for the London marathon.


Elen stretched out her muscles on a park bench before setting off on her run.
The former WAG worked up a sweat in her scarf and gloves, but even the extra endorphins didn't make her crack a smile.


Perhaps Elen is a little put out by the photos of her boyfriend Peter Andre looking very cosy with The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs that emerged over the weekend.
Pictures of the pair with their bodies pressed together during a night out at Sugar Hut may have spurred Elen to thrash out her irritation on the pavement.
An onlooker told the Daily Star: ‘No one could quite believe what they were seeing.

‘Amy was all over Peter and he was loving the attention like a kid in a sweet shop. It was as if they were already a couple.
‘You would never have guessed he had a girlfriend from the way they were behaving and giggling at each other.’

But Amy quickly took to Twitter to defend the speculation, tweeting yesterday: ‘Don’t believe what you read in the papers today xx’.


The pair’s Friday night rendezvous was the second night in a row Pete and Amy were spotted together, after both attending Danielle Brown’s tea room launch the previous evening.

They were joined by Kerry Katona, Nicola McLean and Tom Williams at the opening of cupcake café The Shed in London.

And Elen was also at the event that night and kept an eye on the Mysterious Girl singer.

Amy has made no secret of her crush on Pete in the past said last November: ‘I absolutely love him. I don’t mind going out with someone who’s older and has kids.’

Flexible Elen Rivas gets in some last minute practice ahead of the London Marathon this weekend

She stunned her Dancing On Ice mentors Torvill and Dean when she demanded the splits be included in her skating routine to show off her flexibility.
But Elen Rivas proved she doesn't need the ice rink to display her toned curves as she prepared for a gruelling early morning run yesterday.

The 36-year-old Spanish model put on quite a show for photographers as she limbered up by lifting her leg high over her head in a graceful move.

Dressed in a pair of tiny white shorts, pink top and navy blue tennis visor, Elen looked incredibly athletic in her sporty outfit.
The mother-of-two is gearing up for the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday, and recently told friends she is looking forward to the 26-mile race because she is in the 'best shape of her life'.
And Elen is no stranger to the race, having completed the course in five hours 20 minutes last year.
However, she said actually running the marathon was a lot more daunting than the thought of doing so.

She said: 'When I was asked to take part I actually laughed out loud, accepted on impulse... then got scared.

'The only running I ever do is chasing around after my daughters.'
Elen had been working out with then-boyfriend Peter Andre ahead of the marathon, but the pair split earlier this month.

Talking about training with Elen before their break-up, Peter said: 'I'm not doing the Marathon myself but I've been going running with her and really enjoying it.

'She's already really good but, as I used to be a personal trainer years ago, I reckon I'm a pretty good motivator!'

Elen was due to be facing off against Peter's ex-wife Katie Price in Sunday's marathon, but the glamour model was forced to pull out after sustaining a knee injury.
Elen will be running the Virgin London Marathon in aid of the charity Wellbeing of Women, which helps save the lives of women and babies and furthers research and training into women's health.
