| A baby boy for Claudine and Robbie
IRELAND soccer captain Robbie Keane and his wife Claudine Palmer were last night celebrating becoming parents for the first time.
Keane (28), and his 25-year-old wife are said to be delighted and their seven pound five ounce son, Robert Ronan, is in "excellent health" in a Dublin hospital, according to a spokesperson.
Claudine is also in a healthy condition after giving birth late on Saturday night.
Our picture shows the couple on their wedding day in June last year.
The latest addition to the Keane family completes a hat trick of Robbies -- the baby is named after the Ireland ace himself and his dad Robbie Snr, who died of liver cancer in 2003 at the age of 51.
The impending end of the current Premier League season means that the couple will be able to spend more time in Ireland with their newborn son, as Claudine had wished.
The London-based pair, who married last June after a six-year relationship, hired a leading maternity doctor to assist them during the pregnancy.
Ms Palmer announced the pregnancy earlier this year.
